Walmart has gradually been raising its minimum wage for employees over the last five years. In 2015, it went up to $10 an hour. In 2018, it moved to $11 an hour. Now, the company is reportedly raising the pay of certain staff associates in a select number of locations to $12. The company has made no official announcement that it intends to increase minimum wage to $12 across the board. However, many believe these increases may be the first step in that direction.
