The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) reached out to Phil Wilson to understand how employers typically respond to Weingarten Rights issues. Wilson explained that most unionized employers default to informing an employee of their Weingarten Rights, to avoid employee claims that they asked for a union representative to be present in an interview and were denied.
