Wilson Addresses Organizing Uptick for SHRM

For a March 9 SHRM article, the author reached out to Phil Wilson for insight into the recent rise in union organizing activity. As Wilson explained, the expected rise in organizing as the country emerges from the pandemic shut-down will take on new momentum as a result of the administration change in Washington. “Unions will be energized by changes in the Biden administration that have already begun, but [they] will accelerate once the National Labor Relations Board gains a Democratic majority toward the end of the year,” Wilson surmised.
