“Fairness” Under The Employee Free Choice Act

by | Aug 13, 2008 | Employee Free Choice Act

Nice cartoon from Red Planet.

It’s amazing how Big Labor can contrast a secret ballot election to the arm-twisting that occurs in the card-check process. Quoth an AFL-CIO official from Georgia,

By the time employees vote in a National Labor Relations Board-sponsored election, the environment has been so poisoned that free and fair choice isn’t an option.”

Oh really? So – card check under the scrutiny of anyone and everyone is a more “fair” and less intimidating process that closing the curtain behind me to make my choice in secret (despite any rhetoric from either side)?
