This is an interesting development. The price for a more than 2-year deal is pretty high (about double what they are asking for in a shorter term contract) but one of the key demands that led to the strike late last year is now compromised. Probably not a lot of support for another strike/lockout among the local membership, and the cooling off period is about to expire.
