If you haven’t seen this yet, Chris Anderson (editor of Wired magazine) has written a terrific article on the internet economy called The Long Tail. I won’t go into the economics here, but it is a really great analysis of the ways in which the internet is transforming our economy. Although he doesn’t talk about it, it is an explanation of why blogging and use of newsfeeds is also transforming old media news channels. Very interesting read.
